This double bevel sliding compound mitre saw with laser guide boasts a space-saving design and top performance, featuring a reduced footprint, direct-drive gearbox and guard system, vertical cutting capacity is the highest in its class and has an easy-to-access bevel lock for 0-48° adjustments (left or right). It also mitres 0-60° in both directions, with presets at 0°, 15°, 22.5°, 31.6°, 45° and 60°.
With its 15 AMP direct drive, soft start motor, this Makita saw delivers smoother start-ups, constant power, and no belt slipping or replacement. Additionally, its electric brake and electronic speed control ensure constant speed under load for optimum cutting results.
The LS1019L has a see-through guard system which boosts visibility of the blade and cut-line. Its built-in laser provides a cutting line whether the blade is in motion or stationary and can make minute adjustments for cut positioning. For improved dust extraction, it is fitted with a dust collection bag (included) or compatible extractor (sold separately). Plus, its aluminium base increases stability for greater cutting efficiency.
